Snow Days, Island Style
Yesterday, the kids had a day off from school … because it had not rained.
Here in our little corner of the tropics, average annual rainfall is better than 200 inches a year. In the upper elevations, it’s more like 400 inches a year. When it rains here, that shit comes down. Mind you, the rain clouds tend to come and go quickly. They float over, dump, and then move on, all in an hour...
