Movie: Wanted
Observations:
I went into Wanted without any preconceptions. I suspect that helped.
Wanted felt a lot like the Minority Report, except with assassins instead of cops.
The actor playing Wesley was far more believable as a dweeb than a killer.
I liked the perspective shifts such as the bullet-path-views and the flying-keyboard-keys-cloud.
I appreciated Fox’s use of the bending bullet...

Movie: The Dark Knight
Perhaps I was not exposed to the right titles as a kid, but early on I came to the conclusion that DC comic books sucked. As heroes from that tainted publisher, Batman and Superman never appealed to me. That bias has certainly tempered my appreciation for the movies of both characters. Sure, I’ve seen all of them, but none of the flicks stimulated much enthusiasm. Thus, despite all the buzz...
In the last couple days, I’ve discovered in my change a 1963 silver Eisenhower dime and a 1940 Jefferson nickel. My wife also just came across a 1944 Washington quarter. I hoard finds such as these, rather than toss them back into circulation. Does that make me odd?
